Frankie's Treatment
7/9/15 - Frankie had his first appointment with his Oncologist this morning & the prognosis is MUCH better than the prognosis from the regular vet. He has begun his Chemotherapy, had a sonogram & medication today. With his chemotherapy & medication he has a 90% CHANCE OF REMISSION! This is the best possible news we could have hoped for! The appointment today was $1,500 (will post photo of invoice when I receive it from Jodi) and he will be going for treatment for 1 year & each visit/chemo treatment is going to cost $1,000 (will post photo of estimate as soon as I receive it from Jodi), the estimate is $40-50K.
7/8/15 - Frankie has been diagnosed with late stage Lymphoma and has tumors on his organs (heart, lungs, bronchial tubes... everywhere) and they cannot be removed. His vet said he has 4-6 weeks left but he might be a candidate for chemotherapy which could extend his time with his family to 1 year. Jodi has decided to do everything she can to extend Frankie's life & provide the best possible treatment for him. She is bringing him to see an oncologist tomorrow morning & after more testing is done we will know more about his prognosis & treatment options. I will post a new update once we have more information from the specialist! For now, please keep sharing this fundraiser & donate any amount you can afford. Jodi has already spent over $1,000 for his initial vet visit & testing (see invoices in photos section). Once we have an estimate from the specialist we will update the goal for this fundraiser. Again, thank you SO MUCH for your kindness, generosity, and prayers during this very difficult time. Every single one of you is an Angel on earth for this pup... together we can help his family give him the best possible treatment available & help him fight this terrible disease!!!
