A pediatrition is a person wo works with kids. They Diagnose, treat, and help prevent children's diseases and injuries.
In America, the typical pediatrician works in an office environment. This office can be located in a hospital, clinic, or private practice. It is usually a clean, professional space.
how do you become one?
After high school, you need 4 years of undergraduate courses at a college or university After completing college, you will need to attend 4 years of medical school This entails at least 3 more years of training. In the case of pediatrics, the training of residency is 3 years. After completing these 3 years, you are now a pediatrician and can become certified in pediatrics by passing a test that deals with medical conditions related to infants and children.
Pediatritions earn annually about $140,000 a year, and hourly about $70.
As long as the worlds population continues to grow, medical facilities and hospitals will need pediatricians. Babies and children require more care than adults do because they do not develop fully functional immune systems until much later in life. So there will always be a need for doctors that are able to treat children and infants.
There are a number of jobs related to a pediatrician's office. Nurses, medical assistants and receptionists work at pediatrician offices.
