National Vocations Awareness Week November 5-11
Let us pray for the strength to guide and encourage the children in our care.
Parents Prayer for Vocations
Gracious and loving God,
you have blessed us with the privilege of becoming Parents.
We ask that you provide us with all that we need
in accepting this awesome responsibility.
We pray that we will be open to your spirit
who is our source of strength
as we witness to our children
your love for each of them and your desire for them
to be happy and to live a full life.
We ask your help
so we may guide and encourage our children
to believe that they each have a special calling
and to use their gifts and talents for others.
We pray, Heavenly Father,
that our children will discover
and respond enthusiastically to your desire for them
whether it be to the vocation of single, married,
ordained or consecrated life.
We offer this prayer in the name of Jesus
through the grace of the Holy Spirit.
Amen.

Seton's Annual Fund Drive
We are once again working hard to generate school funds through Seton’s Annual Fund Drive. The Annual Fund Drive helps the school support our staff, maintain our school campus, provide educational enrichment, and support other activities. Every donation we receive helps to provide a quality Catholic education.
We recognize that as a school family you already do many things to share your time, talents, and treasures with Seton School. We ask that you please consider donating a minimum of $20 to our Annual Fund Drive. If every school family makes this small donation, it would generate nearly $2,500 worth of financial support.
Donations can be returned to the Seton School Office in the form of cash or check, but could also be made online through ACH at www.sheboyganseton.org.
Front of School Drop Off and Pick Up
If you will need more than a minute or two to drop off or pick up your children, or you are going to be exiting your car, please park in the back of school or on another section of the roadway. Thank you.
Sharing Your Talents
School Board Committee Openings
The Seton School Board would like to invite interested parents or parishioners to join our 2017-2018 committees. Your talents and time would be of great benefit to us as we move forward. There is much work that goes into making St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic School successful, and there is also great reward in the team building and collaboration. Please consider volunteering to serve on one of our four School Board Committees. The descriptions of each are in your Friday folders.
If you are interested, please contact Dr. Nardi at nardis@sheboyganseton.org or Tim Roose at rooset@sheboyganseton.org. Thank you.
Knights of Columbus Family Night
Calling all families! The Knights of Columbus would like to invite you to join us for family night. We will be showing Hotel Transylvania on one side of the room while the other side will be for parents who just want to relax and visit. Admission is free. We will be offering food and beverages (adult and kid) for purchase before and during the movie. Feel free to bring a more comfortable chair/bean bag/blanket/pillow/etc. to enjoy the movie.

Crafty Helpers Needed
If you are willing to make and/or install circles or willing to help paint them, please sign up at the following link. Our goal is to have this complete before Catholic Schools Week at the end of January. Thank you.
Part Time Custodial Maintenance Help Needed?
St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic School is looking to hire a part time custodial maintenance position. It would be no more than 20 hrs a week M-F working in the evenings. Hours during the week would increase during the summer months based on cleaning schedules. Off Holidays and some days when school is not in session unless absolutely needed.
We are looking to hire a responsible, self-directed individual interested in the custodial maintenance field. Experience preferred but not required. If interested, please contact Facilities Manager, Ryan O’Keefe by email (okeefer@sheboyganseton.org,) or by phone (920-980-9100).

Boxes Needed
Hello All,
Some of you may be more familiar with our food box delivery than others. Each year we fill and deliver over 200 boxes of food to those in need the weekend before Thanksgiving. We are able to do this due to the generosity of our parish members at St. Clement and Holy Name.
One of my jobs is to collect and store the boxes themselves so that we have something in which to put the food on that day. We have been blessed in having multiple sources over the years that have provided us with boxes all of the same size - boxes built to hold about 8 reams of paper and that come with a lid. The box is approximately 12 x 17" and a perfect size to hold the food we have for each family.
This year it has been a little more difficult to collect the 250 that we need - I currently have only about 125. So I am putting a call out to all of you to help. If you work somewhere that has a copy room or print shop or if you know someone who does, please ask if you can have the boxes when empty. I know that they are in high demand since they are perfect for moving and storing. But even if you only find 1 or 2 boxes, that will help.
As I mentioned, I will store them at my house until November when we need them. You can drop them off at Seton school, at the parish office, in the narthex at Holy Name or Dominican Hall at St. Clement. Or you can call me and I will pick them up. Just be sure to mark them for the food box mission if they don't come directly to me. My contact information is below if you have any questions or need more information.
Thank you for your help in this endeavor!
