Fair Parade Was Bearcat Strong!
It was exciting to see so many members of the CCS family participating in and watching the Fair Parade. Students, faculty, staff and families from the Bearcat nation enjoyed this Cullman County tradition.
Youth Fair & Parent Teacher Conference Day Next Monday
Students will be out of school next Monday, September 25th, so that they may participate in Youth Fair Day. Teachers will be available to conference with parents/guardians during the day. Please schedule your conference time with your child's teacher.
Building Skills Through Play
Last school year, CCPS implemented a monthly school-wide board game day. It was so popular, we have continued it this year as well.
With financial help from the CCPS PTO, teachers met and decided on age appropriate board games for students. On purpose, there were no technology games purchased for this project. The goal for the project is to instill social and communication skills that the teachers feel would be achieved through “old fashioned” board games. Teachers introduce a game a week to the students and many classrooms ask parents and community members to come once a month to play with the students.

We Love Our Grands!
Grandparents Day in the Outdoor Classroom was a huge success! Thanks to all of our grands who attended!
Remembering 9/11
These sixth graders were not born when the tragic events of September 11, 2001 occurred. They were able to get a sense of what our country was feeling in the aftermath, however, by reviewing newspaper articles saved by the grandparents of their teacher, Mrs. Jones. #neverletthemforget
What Could It Be?
EES students have been working hard to develop a plan for separating a mixture containing three dry materials and one mystery material! What did they find?
CMS Band and Cheerleaders Shine
Our talented band members and cheerleaders do a great job at our CMS football games. Our band members gave a great half-time performance. Our cheerleaders showed outstanding spirit supporting our teams! Go Bearcats!
Serving During the Storm
These CHS teachers were just a few of our Bearcat Family who took time to serve others in their time of need. Cullman IS community and we opened our community and our hearts to those displaced by Hurricane Irma. So thankful for a faculty and a community that serves others.
Coming Soon: CHS Sport Shooting Club
We are always excited to offer new extracurricular activities to our students. One of the newest is a Sport Shooting Club. Stay tuned for more!
