Our fifth grade buddies shared their cardboard arcade games with us!
Second grade is collecting school supplies and books for students in Lumberton, NC that lost so much due to flooding from Hurricane Matthew.
Storybook Character Projects are due on Monday!
What We are Learning About
Writing: Students will participate in shared research and writing while using the writing process: brainstorming, drafting, editing, revising, conferring, and publishing.
Fundations: We are currently focusing on spelling and marking closed syllable words with glued sounds and suffixes. We are also reading words with r-controlled vowels and vowel teams.
Math: We will focus on drawing shapes with specific attributes, such as a given number of faces or sides.
Science: We will focus on the states of matter.
Social Studies: We will focus on the purpose of government and the rolls and responsibilities of citizens.
