Talent Show
Drama club is excited to announce that after two years off, the talent show is back. Join us on Wednesday, October 20 at 6:00 P.M., as a group of extremely talented GHS students perform. This event, which also serves as a fundraiser for the GHS Drama Club, always leaves those who attend wanting more because of the amazing amount of talent GHS students have to offer. The event includes multiple singers, bands, dance, and more. This year’s show will take place in the gym, so patrons can spread out. A reminder that we are required to follow the current masking policy. Each year, we almost sell out ($5 entry fee), so get there early, and get ready for a great night. Questions can be addressed to drama club director Laura Hotelling.

Fall Play
The members of the GHS Drama Club are already hard at work preparing their first show of the year, Pillow Talk. This hilarious play, based on the 1959 movie starring Rock Hudson and Doris Day, finds Brad and Jan having to share a party line. Brad is a ladies’ man and is constantly on the phone with one date or another. Jan is an interior designer who primarily works from home, something she faces with difficulty since Brad is always on the line when she needs to make a phone all. Pillow Talk will be presented on the stage in Gornick Auditorium November 4-7, showcasing the fantastic acting and design skills of drama club’s 70+ cast and crew members. In order to accommodate distance between patrons, there will be limited seating at each performance. Tickets will be available through the GHS main office and our ticketing website in October. You won’t want to miss it!
