Amrhein signs Letter of Intent

SHS Senior Lexie Amrhein signed her letter of intent to do acrobatics for Baylor University. She has been involved in competitive cheer for the past thirteen years. Lexie attended an acrobatics summer camp at Baylor last July. This camp convinced her that she wanted to do acrobatics and tumbling in college.

The defending NCAA Champion Baylor Bear Acrobatic Team is one of the top programs in the country. Baylor is one of the top universities in the nation and is a member of the BIG 12 Conference. Lexie is the daughter of Kim Amrhein and Mike Amrhein. SHS is proud of Lexie's accomplishments and will be following her as she begins her college career in the Fall.

Band of Warriors at State

The Band of Warriors marched this past Saturday at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis. The Band was making their second straight appearance in the State Finals and the 28th appearance overall. Their show Carol On was performed in front of a large crowd and was their best performance of the year.

Our musicians had a tremendous season finishing 8th in the State of Indiana. The Band members commit many extra hours to represent their school and community. Congrats to our student musicians. Thanks for all of the work!

Cheer competes at State

The SHS Cheer Team competed this month at Lucas Oil Stadium. They finished 7th in the competition. The team is young and has a tremendous amount of talent. We look forward to future competitions as our team grows in experience.
