Principal Message

I have to admit that I am not a fan of Day Light Savings until about April!!!! Today the students came in yawning and looking so tired! I enjoy the longer daylight in the summer but it is hard on our students for the first week!!!

This year has been so different. We are holding School Community Council meetings on ZOOM. We have missed our assemblies. PTA has not been able to hold their carnival. We miss all of these activities.

I want to thank Hailey Thomas and the PTA. Hailey checks on the school monthly. She has picked up t-shirts and hoodies when they've been ordered. The PTA has donated water for the students and treats for the teachers. Thank you Hailey and the PTA board for your time and support!

Please read all of the announcements.

Student Council is hosting a Shoe Drive

This week we are having a Shoe Drive. We are collecting new and gently used shoes. They will be sent to Haiti and other countries that need them. Please go through your closets and bring your gently used or new shoes with your parents permission to school this week. We are having a contest to see which grade donates the most shoes!

Third Grader Organizes Food Drive

One of our third grade students, Adika, watched a video clip about hunger in America. She felt bad when she saw all of the kids who don’t have enough to eat. She decided she wanted to do something to help.

Adika talked to her friends at school and they wanted to help too. They made posters. This morning they shared with each class that they are collecting food to donate to the Utah Food Bank to help fight hunger. Please bring canned food items this week. On Saturday, the donated food will be delivered to the local Food Bank in Payson.

I am so proud of Adika and her friends! They are leaving heartprints on all they help! Thank you for your support.

The Utah Food Bank greatest needs are : Peanut Butter, Canned Stew, Canned Tuna, Canned Chicken, Macaroni and Cheese, etc. NO GLASS ITEMS accepted.

Parent Letter IF Desiring a Change Between Remote and At Home Learning (sustantivo (knowledge) conocimientos masculino plural; act aprendizaje masculino0

Dear Parents,

This is just a friendly reminder that parents wanting to change their child’s learning option for fourth term from Remote Learning to At-School Learning, or vice versa, can do so by submitting their decision in THIS SURVEY between March 15 and March 21.

If parents do not wish to change their student’s learning option at this time, they should not submit the survey.

Once 4th term begins on March 29, parents will need to stay with their decision until the end of the school year.

Thank you!!

Estimados padres:
