The Skipper Scoop
Week of September 10th
SKIPPER NATION
Happy Monday everyone. Friday's Veteran's Night was an amazing and gratitude filled evening. Our guests from Operation Stat were honored with a special band performance at halftime. We wholeheartedly thank them for their service and were fortunate to have them as our guests.Thank you for those in attendance. Thank you so much to the staff and students who arranged their visit and made them feel welcomed.
A shout out to the parents who are going above and beyond decorating the village with the maroon and white theme last week, and red, white, and blue, this week. I know for a fact that the staff at Harding is buzzing about all the activity. The kids have been commenting all week as well. Skipper Pride is village wide!
Have an awesome week,
Mrs. Rumbarger

Hooked on salsa!
Thanks Ms. Felix and Mr. Hlousek for taking our design lab kids to Auburn on Friday to make salsa. The kids used vegetables from their plot at the FH Community garden. This type of personalized learning is the true definition of child centered and differentiated learning.
