2. Online ordering on our website www.apluscardTX.com. Customers will need to input the school, your first and last name, AND the homeroom teacher's name so you can get credit for the sale. Payment will be online.
PLEASE help your child sell at least 1 card. The funds raised from the A+ plus cards go directly into the student activity fund. We appreciate all of your support!

A Note from Mrs. Irwin
We are so excited to see so many of our student's smiling faces back on campus. We appreciate everyone's support and patience as we work to ensure our school has protocols in place to keep our students safe.
Now that we have students on campus, we need to remind everyone of the student dress code. If your child is on campus doing face to face learning, they are expected to follow all dress code guidelines. You may also find this information in our student handbook on pg. 17-18. If a student arrives at school out of uniform or is groomed inappropriately, the student’s parent(s) will be called to bring a change of clothes.
Uniform Top
- All students must wear the Harmony School uniform shirt.
- Shirts must be tucked in at all times.
- The shirt must be bought from the school.
Pants / Belts
- Properly fitting navy blue, black or khaki pants/slacks.
- Black or dark blue fitted belt. (4-12 grades only)
- Jeans may be worn on designated days ONLY
Shorts
- Properly fitting navy blue or khaki shorts or skorts (K-8th grades only)
- Must be to the knee or longer
Dress/Skirts
- Dresses and Skirts are NOT allowed
Outerwear
- Harmony jackets and sweaters may be worn
- Hoodies are not allowed to be worn in the school building
General
- Solid colored, long sleeve shirt may be worn under the school uniform shirt.

Kindergarten
Thank you all so much for your support and patience during this time. Please remind your child that masks must be worn over the nose and mouth. Also, they remain on throughout the day. Please send water bottles that close, as they are unable to use water fountains.

Kindergarten Team
1st Grade
This week we will complete learning about tally charts, picture graphs, and bar graphs. We will be learning about addition next. We are learning how to spell short u words and continue practice reading our sight words. In science we are learning how materials change when heated and cooled.
First Grade Teachers
2nd Grade
ELA-This week we will be learning about poetry and the different elements of a poem. We will be working on spelling words with long and short vowel sounds. Please remind your student to read at least 20 minutes every day at home! Ask them questions and have a conversation with them about the book they are reading! -Ms. Brown
Math- We are still learning strategies to help us add and subtract 2-digit numbers. We will have our CBA over addition and subtraction next week. -Ms. Lester
ELA- We are focusing on Central Idea and Elements of a Drama from our story of the week: “The Puddle Puzzle.” Students should be able to identify singular/plural nouns in a sentence.
B. Martinez
3rd Grade
This week students are starting a new unit of study on Energy! We will be learning about Mechanical and Light Energy. Please be sure to check the Missing Assignment folder in Schoology for missing assignments and corrections! -Mrs. Martinez

Math is continuing our unit on multiplication. We have learned to multiply using partial products and area models. We will next multiply using the standard algorithm!-Ms. McCaig
4B is working on visualizing while reading and writing about an Apex Predator.-Ms. Swanner
ELA is working on writing an informational text about an apex predator and visualizing during reading. -Mrs. Driver
5th Grade

This week in Reading we are working on monitoring comprehension while reading. We are also working on finding the Central Idea in a story while identifying the supporting details in the story. We are reading a weekly HMH story in our Reading textbooks called "The Celestials Railroad".-Mrs. Dunford
In science we are studying 5.6 C (demonstrate that light travels in a straight line until it strikes an object and is reflected or travels through one medium to another and is refracted).
In social studies we are completing 5.1 A (explain when, where, and why groups of people explored, colonized, and settled in the United States, including the search for religious freedom and economic gain) with a curriculum-based-assessment.-Mr. Walton
