From the Middle EMS and ELA
News from the Principal, May 15, 2020
Hello Parents and Families,
Today is our last day with students in remote learning for the school year, and I am a bit at a loss for words. As a teacher, the last day of school for me was always bittersweet. It was exciting to look forward to the next steps in my students' journeys, summer break, plans for next school year, and a bit hard to say goodbye to staff, families, and especially my students. It is hard to describe THIS end of school year as bittersweet--ultimately it feels difficult to come to terms with the unknown that we all exist in.
But, as I participated in the last few Zoom meetings with our students and our staff throughout today, I was reminded of all the GREATNESS that exists in Englewood. As a community, we will continue to do great work, and regardless of what the future holds, I am confident that we will tackle it with grace, resiliency, and kindness.
Please enjoy these videos, photos, and galleries that highlight our amazing teachers and our amazing students.
I will continue to send information through this newsletter format during the summer as I learn of our next steps for our students and school.
See below for the latest end-of-year dates and announcements.
If at anytime, you have questions, please email me.
