HRE Weekly Bulletin
November 17th through November 21st
Congratulations Jen Eichenauer!
School treasurer, Jen Eichenauer was caught getting a GRIP this week by Mr. Foreman. Mrs. Eichenauer was caught showing Purpose. Mrs. Eichenauer does a tremendous job for us in the HRE office, but also graciously volunteers to help out with class projects that require extra effort outside of the school day. Thanks for setting a great example for others to follow Mrs. Eichenauer!
Don't forget to nominate a colleague who you catch "Getting a GRIP"! Nomination slips are here in the office.
RtI Data Day
Friday, November 21st is our next data turn-in day. Bring your data sheets to the conference room to be turned in before school or during your prep time on this day. If your grade level would like to meet with us to discuss any concerns or needs your grade level has then please schedule with us by the end of the day on Monday, November 17th. Grade level meetings are optional for this month, but data turn-in is required. If you have any questions please let us know.
Love Indy is Coming
Hoosier Road Elementary will once again be participating in the Love Indy project. This project goes along with our trait for December which is Kindness. Our school goal this year is to fill 100 boxes of food for students who will otherwise go hungry during winter break. Boxes will be available for families to pick up on Monday, December 1st and our final day for collecting items will be December 17th. Please help by encouraging your students and their families to participate. Cathy will be distributing more detailed information to you next week. Our donations will all stay right here in Hamilton County! Last year we donated 30 boxes to Hoosier Road families and the rest of our boxes went to other HSE school and food banks here in Fishers. If you have any questions regarding Love Indy please let me know.
Don't forget that the HRE PTO will reimburse each certified staff member up to $150 for classroom expenses. Please fill out the PTO reimbursement form (you can pick one up from Jen) and attach your receipts and turn it in to Mr. Hurst. In order for our PTO books to be in compliance, all purchases reimbursed must be from the current fiscal year. Forms MUST be turned in by December 1st in order to be reimbursed. All unspent money will be reallocated to other PTO projects, so use it or lose it.
