The Seneca Falls Convention
Seneca Falls, New York
Come and Join the Movement
Come and join us all in the first ever women's rights convention. Due to the fact that Lucretia Mott was denied a seat in the international antislavery meeting in London, as of July 19, 1848, we will be protesting the mistreatment of women in social, economic, political, and religious life. We will be drafting the Declaration of Sentiments modeled after the Declaration of Independence which will demand equality with men. Our goal is to gain the rights that women had by the constitution. Both men and women can join the movement so together, as one, we can create a change in women equality.
Women also deserve the right to vote, not just men.
We will protest together to create change in women equality.
Declaration of Sentiments
Here we will demand equity with men.
