Two Weeks of New Content!
April 6 to 10
Unit 27 + 28
This week we will cover two units:
Unit 27 -Pre-Modernism (Photography, Impressionism, Post-Impressionism and Symbolism. These are the artists you are probably very familiar with. Think Monet, Van Gogh, Cezanne, etc, The art in this unit makes a significant break from the art of the past and paves the way for modern art.
Then we move into Modern Art...Unit 28. Modern art provides the sharpest break with the past in the whole evolution of Western art. Artists are on a relentless quest for freedom of expression.

Cue Card Image - Notes
In order to be as efficient as possible (especially considering how busy this next month will be) I created the cue cards as a notetaker. In our last few units I will accept the information on the back of the cue card in any style, but they still need to be organized by color. The "cue card notetakers" (I can't think of a better name) will be printed and handed out Tuesday in class. You can take notes on the images in class and transfer them directly to your cue cards.
Early Photography will be Monday's assignment, but those are also included.
