What Comes Next?...

In all seriousness, what does happen once you've been accepted to colleges? Check out these next steps:
- Wait. If you applied to multiple colleges you will just need to wait for now. Wait for all of your acceptances and award letters to arrive. You will not make a decision until you know your exact cost of attendance for each college to which you were accepted.
- Compare your award letters. See PowerPoint presentation below and: Award Letter Comparison Google Sheets tool.
- Talk to your family; decide what option is best for you when you consider cost and fit.
- You typically have until May 1st or later (depending on college) to secure your spot.

Learn about our programs, the admissions and enrollment process, financial aid, placement testing, and additional services provided for high school students.

Chap Chats
Join us for a panel discussion with Admission Representatives and current students to answer questions about the student experience at College of DuPage. Students will highlight why they chose to attend a community college, opportunities for involvement, planning for next steps, and much more! Tuesday, Feb. 2, 5 to 6 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 16, 5 to 6 p.m., Wednesday, March 3, 5 to 6 p.m., Wednesday, March 17, 5 to 6 p.m., Wednesday, March 31, 5 to 6 p.m., Tuesday, April 13, 5 to 6 p.m. and Tuesday, April 27, 5 to 6 p.m.
High school next steps workshop Learn about the next steps in the enrollment process. This session is intended for students that have already applied to College of DuPage. Saturday, April 10, 2021, 9 to 10 a.m. and Saturday, May 8, 2021 9 to 10 a.m.
Scholarship Series Join us to learn about Fall 2021 scholarship opportunities and tips for paying for college. This session will review the Academic Works scholarship portal and highlight strategies for submitting a strong scholarship application. This session is intended for all students looking to apply for Fall 2021 scholarships.
Join us to learn about the Scholars Award Program application process and tips for submitting a strong application. This session will review applicant requirements, and highlight current Scholar Award Program students. This session is intended for current, in-district, high school seniors who want to learn more about the Scholars Award Program. Thursday, Mar. 25, 6 to 7 p.m. and Wednesday, May 5, 6 to 7 p.m.
