Town of Sunnyvale - Aug. 13, 2021

Harris Addition trash pick-up

Due to the construction for the Harris Addition Sewer and Alley Rehabilitation Project, all residents living on Mesa Drive and Molina Drive will need to place their trash and brush in front of their house (rather than in the alley), beginning Aug. 13:

Notices were distributed by the Town's Public Works Department on Wednesday, Aug. 11. Additional notices will be sent when trash can be placed back in the alleyway.

We appreciate your patience throughout this project!

Temporary Water Outage - Stoney Creek 4C

Due to a construction company connecting to the Town's water main, residents living at the following addresses will experience a temporary water disruption on Monday, Aug. 16 from 9 a.m. - 3 p.m.:

  • 301 East Fork Rd.
  • 309 East Fork Rd.
  • 313 East Fork Rd.

The Town's Public Works Department distributed individual notices to the affected addresses on Friday, Aug. 13.

Back to school

Sunnyvale ISD's first day back to school is on Wednesday, Aug. 18. School zone safety is a top priority and it is important for drivers to obey traffic laws and slow down when children are present - especially before and after school.

  • Be patient and expect minor delays.
  • Never pass a school bus on the right.
  • Be cautious in school zones at all times.
  • Put cell phones away - cell phones are prohibited in school zones.
  • Be safe. Drive smart.

We wish the students and staff members of Sunnyvale ISD a safe, healthy, and happy school year!
