A native of Rochester, Hank Teegarden graduated cum laude with Honors from the University of Rochester and cum laude from the University of Buffalo School of Law. He is a Member of the New York Bar and is admitted to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
Mr. Teegarden has been an attorney at a major international media company for 16 years and has a private practice focusing on intellectual property law. In addition, he was an Adjunct Professor at Rochester Institute of Technology for five years and has been a guest lecturer for the University of Arizona, Washington College of Law (American University), SUNY Plattsburgh, the Public Relations Society of the United States, the Rochester Advertising Federation, and the Monroe County Bar Association.
Mr. Teegarden is the Managing Editor and Lead Author for Patents Throughout the World and Designs and Utility Models Throughout the World and the update author of the 2013-2017 Editions of Patent Claims. All of these titles are published by Thomson Reuters.
