Our Mission: To Glorify God by making More and Better Disciples

From the Office

Hi everyone!

Welcome to this week's CRC newsletter! Here you will find time-sensitive announcements, events, service schedules, offering schedules, and prayer list. I will send these out at the end of each week.

I wanted to clear up some confusion that you may have regarding my email. You have received emails from Shonta Villalobos, yes that is me. Shonta is my legal name so any official correspondence will be under Shonta. It's very confusing and I apologize for that.

If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to me directly.

In Christ,

Becky - Church Office Administrator

Out of Office

Pastor Lambert is out of the office July 14th - July 21. He will be back in office on Thursday July 22nd.

HYMN SING

UPDATED:

Mark your calendars: our next Hymn Sing is tentatively schedule for August 29th at 5:00pm in the Sanctuary.

Associate Pastor Search

The vote to extend a call to Rev. Andy Hanson is scheduled for the 18th of July.

Children's Worship

At the meeting we had last month we agreed to meet again in a month. However, that date has now been booked for our interview with Pastor Andy and our process of calling our associate pastor. Next week pastor Lambert is on vacation. Since he wants to be personally available to meet, the next meeting will be on the 25th of July. We're looking forward to seeing all the parents and volunteers together to keep abreast of how this program is progressing.

Front Lawn Renovation Project

Final drawings and bids are still being worked up for the process of securing permits. We had a couple of contractors and engineers reviewing the site and the preliminary plans this week. They are eager to participate in this beautiful project. We are so grateful for Dave Roach's expertise and generosity in managing this project.

Summer Events

Taco Night will be a "drive thru" due to the heat. This event will be held on Saturday, July 24th @ 6pm. Dinner plates consist of 2 tacos (1 Asada, 1 Chicken) Rice & Beans.

We will end our Family Summer Extravaganza with a Indoor Movie on Friday, August 20th. More information will be available at the beginning of August.

Back-Pack Project for Monroe

We need several volunteers to help us sort and fill the back packs we have acquired for Monroe Elementary School. The backpacks have arrived. The contents have also arrived. We just need to put the one into the other a few hundred times! If we have enough volunteers we could accomplish this in a day. We're looking at either the last Saturday of July and/or the first Saturday of August. We promised the backpacks to the school on Monday the 9th of August.

Men's Softball

Our men's softball team is off to a great season. The games are held at Centennial Sports Complex and they would love to see fans in the stands.
