ARTISTIC EXPRESSIONS ACTION TEAM: Artistic Expressions will be having its first meeting on Tuesday, October 17th at Lunch in Room 101.
PIRATE RUN CLUB: Run for Rhett Fall training begins right when we return from Fall Break, Tuesday, October 17 at 2:40 pm on the track. This is a 6-week training program leading to the annual MaraFUNrun 5k on December 2, 10:30 a.m. at Crocker Park. Training sessions are Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2:40-3:35 p.m. from 10/17-12/2. Thanksgiving week there is no training(yay or boo). Please complete this online registration form for your student before October 1st to have them participate. See Ms. Clark by the gym for additional questions.
HALLOWEEN DOOR DECORATING: Hey NP3 pirates! Are you ready to show your Halloween spirit? There will be a Halloween-themed Door Decoration contest! We will be hosting this from October 16th to October 27th. This competition will be in 6th-8th grade through advisories! Contests must be up and ready to be judged by lunch on October 27th. Doors will be judged by our wonderful staff team by the end of advisory. Winners will be announced soon after. Get ready to participate and show your creativity! Go pirates! KICKBALL TOURNAMENT: Pirate Lighthouse will be hosting a kickball tournament during lunch. The prize for winning the Tournament will be cupcakes or donuts. You can sign up for it in a Google form, there will be 6-14 teams of 10-15 people. The time will be at lunch from 12:50 to 1:10, and the date is October 17-27. For the first round, you will choose who to go against. Grades 6, 7, and 8 can combine. There are limited spaces so sign up quickly. This is the Link for the tournament. Have fun!
HALLOWEEN COSTUME SHOWCASE: READY TO SHOW SOME HALLOWEEN SPIRIT? Wear a school-appropriate costume and come showcase your costume (no weapons or blood, and your costume has to be identifiable). StuGov will be hosting a walk-through at the AMP during lunch on Tuesday, October 31. All participants will get candy. Come one, come all to participate!
