DECA Scholars Need Your Thoughts!

A group of Hopkins DECA scholars are currently working with a food company in Minnesota on how they use data to personalize consumer experiences. They are specifically looking at the food company's loyalty app. The scholars need your opinions around the topic and have developed a survey that takes less than 3 minutes to complete.

The scholars would appreciate your time and opinions. They will evaluate the results of the survey to develop a strategic plan.

Seniors-Cap and Gown Orders

Your scholar is approaching a major milestone. Each senior has been emailed a unique link to order their cap and gown. Caps and gowns are free for scholars; however, they must complete the order form from our vendor that was sent to them. Scholars have until December 22nd to place their order. If your scholar has not placed their order by then, you will receive a separate email so that you may place the order.

Caps and gowns will be shipped to the high school and distributed closer to commencement. This school year, commencement will be held on Tuesday, June 6, at the University of Minnesota Maturi Sports Pavilion at 12:00pm. The address is: 1925 University Avenue SE, Minneapolis, MN 55455.

School Start Time Information for 2023-24

As we continue to prepare for the 6th and 9th-grade transition, we have a few important updates regarding transportation and its impact on school start times. In our last communication, we shared the 2023-24 calendar, which has been adopted by our School Board. We are now able to provide the anticipated start times for our elementary schools, middle schools, and high school. Please note, we will be moving forward with a three-tier bussing schedule, which impacts start and end times. Read about anticipated start times here.

Come Celebrate the Hopkins Orchestra Program!

These two concerts will feature our 5th - 12th-grade orchestra students on both sides of the district. The performance is located in the Hopkins High School Auditorium. The concert is free!

eLearning & Equitable Internet Access

With Hopkins adopting eLearning due to inclement weather this winter, we want to make sure families have stable, available internet access at home. If your student would need assistance in having an internet connection at home to participate in eLearning Days, please contact their school counselor, and they will work with you to make sure an internet hotspot is available on eLearning Days.
