Week of October 10, 2016

The Week That Was.....

The week flew by as students went on more field trips, visited the Fall Scholastic Book Fair, explored topics in Science, Math, ELA, and Social Studies. We had a special treat as our local fire company came and reviewed STOP, DROP, and ROLL and students had a tour of their fire truck.

In addition to teaching and taking care of our students, all staff members were involved in getting everything ready for our Fall Festival. We are so excited for Saturday and hope to see you all.

Fall Festival

This is our first big social event of the school year; we will have lots for everyone to do, see, and eat! The weather looks great for Saturday so please come join us!

Parents' Night Out

This month's Parents' Night Out will be held on Friday, October 21st from 6:30-9:30. All students who attend will be painting pumpkins, wrapping a mummy, and eating Mac & Cheese-oh how yummy:)

Please submit your form and payment by October 17th

Photo Shoot

The Photographer and his/her team will be here Monday to scout potential shots and students and staff for the photos. Please send your child to school on Monday in their academic or PE uniform (if they have PE on Monday). If the photographer wishes a student to wear a specific uniform for the actual photo shoot on Tuesday, we will notify parents Monday afternoon.

Finally, if you have not yet returned a signed Photo Release form you must do so Monday morning.
