All Things Baker!
Principal's Message!
Hello All,
Another super busy week of eLearning and missing our kiddos and families! I absolutely love that the weather is getting so nice because I can at least see you all outside having fun! I wanted to remind everyone that we will be collecting Chromebooks and library books and any other items you have to return to school, and giving you all bags with your kiddos classroom "stuff" next week, May 20-22 from 8-4. If you ordered a yearbook, that will also be added to your child's bag. We thank you, in advance, for your patience. It would be very helpful if you were able to hand us a paper with your child's name, grade and classroom teacher written on it. We will collect that information curbside while we have runners inside to bring out your materials.
I also want to tell you all thank you once again for everything you all have given me the past three years. As many of you know, it was announced around winter break that I would be leaving Baker to open Rushing Middle School across town. While I still will be serving Prosper ISD, leaving Baker is one of the toughest things I have done in my professional and personal life. The past three years have taught me many things as a person as an educator. The teachers have shown me how truly dedicated professionals work for their kids, the families have shown me how schools and families can work together for phenomenal results, and your kiddos have shown me how to be truly kind, thoughtful, and hard-working with the purest hearts and souls! My time at Baker will certainly be some of the favorite of my career. So, thank you, once again, for your patience, your partnership, your kindness, and your grace and, most of all, for sharing your most precious commodity with me, your kiddos!!
Please continue to reach out with any concerns or questions and we will continue to reach out with any updates and/or information! Please remember, at Baker Elementary, we believe In a World Where You Can Be Anything . . . Be Kind!
Miss you all more than words!
