Message from the Principal
We are almost to the end of the semester. In just a little over a week we will send your kids home to finish out the year with family and friends. As I think back over 2022, one thing that comes to mind again and again is how lucky I feel to be the principal at Wilson Creek. We have a wonderful community. Our kids are kind and loving toward each other, and while none are perfect, there is a genuine sense of care and concern for others. Our teachers are top notch, and they spend time each day helping your children learn and ensuring students know they are valued.
I'm grateful also to you, the parents and guardians, who are not only supportive of our school and staff, but for also being great role models for your kids. A child's home life has a huge impact on them. The way they treat others is modeled largely off of the way they are treated and how they see you treat others. We see your kindness and generosity reflected in your kids and you should be proud.
I wish you all a safe, happy holiday season!
With gratitude,
Stephanie Haga, Principal

Lost and Found is being donated tomorrow-Feel free to come by and look for any lost items.
As the weather has gone from hot to cold and back again, a number of coats, jackets and hoodies are lost, found, and unclaimed. Please place names in your child’s clothing so that we may promptly return lost articles to him/her. A Lost and Found rack is in the atrium by the cafeteria.
Our custodial staff picks up items left on the playground and around school. We hang them up on our lost and found racks and students can come by to look at the items to see if they can find anything they have misplaced. Any items that remain after 12/9/2022 will be donated.
Lost & Found Rack: Coats, Sweaters, Hats, Water Bottles, Books
Lost & Found in the Office: Glasses, jewelry, wallets, purses, small personal items
Holiday Toy Drive ends Tomorrow!
It’s the season for giving!
Monday, December 5th kicked off our school-wide Holiday Toy Drive sponsored by our Student Council. As a school, we will be collecting toys for the Atlanta Ronald McDonald House. The Ronald McDonald house is a comfortable place for families with sick children to stay, near the hospital, complete with home-cooked meals, private bedrooms and playrooms for siblings. We will collect new toys for sick children and their siblings. We are asking families from any grade to donate unwrapped new toys for children of all ages (birth to 12). Items can be brought to school or purchased using the Amazon link below.
The class from each grade level that collects the most items will win a hot chocolate party in January. Results will be announced the week of December 12th.
Please make sure all toy donations are donated by Monday, December 12th.
