Dear Matey Families,
The weeks before our breaks are always exciting. Student conferences, spirit weeks, and Scholastic's online book fair make the week extra special. Last week the kiddos brought home notes about Spirit Week and the book fair.
Below is a list of student dress-up days and information about Scholastic's Online Book Fair.

SCHOLASTIC BOOK FAIR
It is hard to believe we have already completed a quarter of school. It has been exciting, tiring, and adventurous. I sincerely hope you have a wonderful and restful break. Thank you all for the support and grace you have provided NP3 Elementary this fall.

Matey After-School Program (MAP) Fall Vacation:
Families, MAP is open during the fall break from 8 am - 6 pm. Complete this interest form. It will help Mr. Gene staff the program properly. You may access the form below or attached.

UPDATE ON COVID TESTING AT NP3: Due to the shortage of rapid tests, we will only test staff and students who have been identified as close contacts to a positive case on campus. NUSD is offering to test every day from 7 am - 9 am and Tuesdays from 10 am - 4 pm. There are additional testing sites throughout Sacramento County, as well.

Leader in Me: Family Homework!
Your students have worked very hard over quarter 1 to learn about the 7 Habits from Leader in Me. During our vacation, spend some time as a family reviewing the 7 Habits and connecting them to your lives. See the attachment below.
Construction Updates
FYI, over the two-week break, the parking lot will be under construction. The elementary office is open during the break Mondays-Thursdays from 9 am - 1 pm. If you need anything, you can park at NP3 Middle/High School and walk on over.

Thank you so much for considering donating to our 2-5 Playground. If you have items like these lying around your homes, we will happily take them off your hands!
Thank you so much for helping our littles! They are pretty hard on their toys and could use more equipment on their playground. If you have toys that are suitable for ages 4-8 and your kids have outgrown them, we would love them!
