Thomas Elementary May 21, 2022
Hello, Thomas Families!
Thomas students are studying the character trait RESPONSIBILITY during the month of May. Responsibility means to take action and understand how our choices affect others and the world.
Here are a few conversation starters and questions to share:
-Who is the most responsible person you know? What makes them responsible?
-What are some things that might get in the way of showing responsibility?
-What could help us practice responsibility?
Families are welcome to visit https://characterstrong.com/ to check out this site. There are free resources including podcasts and weekly strategies to positively impact your daily life:-)
Thomas May Day
Field Trip Fun!
WOW, GTE PTO, THANK YOU!
Kindergarteners took a trip to the back playground to have an up close experience with farm animals. First and third grade visited the zoo to explore animals and their habitats. Second grade explored COSI. Fourth grade journeyed to the Ohio Historical Connection. Fifth grade was able to attend a Columbus Clippers game. In this edition and next edition of the newsletters, we will share pictures of these fabulous days. Thank you, teachers, for designing these learning experiences to support specific curriculum and orchestrating the events of each day! Our appreciation extends to all family members who were able to attend!
