Tribe News
February 2020
Note from the Principal
You have a great opportunity this month to meet our new superintendent, Dr. Todd Hitchcock. He will be hosting a series of community events to discuss educational programming at Shelby Eastern Schools. The first in the series will be the continuous school improvement process and how better to engage community stakeholders in that process. Links to the events are located later in this newsletter.
Our PTO has been busy the last couple of months. Weren't those Santa Shop crafts awesome? Planning has begun for our Spring Fling. Please consider attending the monthly meeting on the first Thursday of each month to be a part of what's happening. Chocolate sales are in full swing. All money is due by February 12th. There is another easy fundraising opportunity for our families. Check out the link below. Your child should have brought home a packet of information about the opportunity. We all shop, right? Take a look at the link below.
Finally, it is time to welcome the Class of 2033!!! If you have or know of a future Mohawk, mark your calendar for February 20th at 6:00 pm. We will have kindergarten registration and open house. WES looks forward to welcoming all our future Mohawks!!
Thanks for sharing your precious children with us. Please feel free to call or stop by if there is anything we can do for you or your student.
Take care,
Mrs. Speidel
