SINGLE CLASSES
Pasta Sauces
Kids will learn how to make four delicious pasta sauces from scratch (Alfredo, pesto, tomato, brown butter garlic) and learn how to properly cook dried pasta.

Hand Pies
Spend some time baking yummy hand pies that are perfect for grabbing on
the go in summer. Each student will bring home a variety of two different fruit
filled hand pies to enjoy and possibly share with their family, can’t guarantee
that they’ll want to share!

CLASS SERIES
Do you have a child who loves to cook and wants to learn more? Kids in the Kitchen offers a series of four classes that will get your child more comfortable & more knowledgeable in the kitchen. This would make a wonderful gift for your budding chef. See the breakdown below of what will be taught over the course of this series of classes.
Class 1- Meatloaf and Twice Baked Potatoes
Class one will work towards getting everyone comfortable in the kitchen. We’ll cover kitchen, knife and food safety and how to set up a work station. Each child will leave knowing how to safely handle their knife, along with learning some of the basic cuts. Each student will make an individual meatloaf and twice baked potato.
Class 2- Omelets, Roasted Potatoes and Fruit Salad
Class two will provide more practice on knife skills. Each student will make two omelets, roasted potatoes & a fruit salad demonstrating various knife cuts.
Class 3- Lasagna and Garlic Bread
Class three will teach the students how to make tomato sauce from scratch.Then they’ll learn how to use it when making their own individual lasagna.
Class 4- Watercolor Cakes
Class four will wrap up the series by teaching the students how to make a beautiful and delicious layered watercolor cake. They will learn how to make
a cake and buttercream frosting from scratch. Then they’ll have the opportunity
to harness their creativity by creating a watercolor effect to decorate the
cake with.
