100 Book Challenge

Congratulations to all the students who made it to our party. The challenge for 2nd quarter has officially started. The kids are asked to read another 25 books and they have until the week before Christmas break. I am going to challenge the kids to read more chapter and nonfiction books this quarter as well.

Pictures from the Week

Don't forget to join our classroom Facebook page.

- To all the students picture to the right. They were the students who completed the goal of reading 25 books for the 1st quarter.

- EES raised over $23,000 during jogathon and has earned a school wide pajama day. On Wednesday, Oct. 19 the kids will enjoy a popcorn snack and can wear their favorite pajamas to school.

States and Capitals Practice

We are starting our tour across the 5 regions of the United States in social studies. The students will need to have the states and capitals memorized for each region. Here is an online game to help them practice throughout the units.
