Activation of effector cells

To combat pathogens that replicate outside the house cells, antibodies bind to pathogens to hyperlink them collectively, triggering them to agglutinate. Considering that an antibody has a minimum of two paratopes, it could actually bind more than one antigen by binding identical epitopes carried for the surfaces of such antigens. By coating the pathogen, antibodies stimulate effector features versus the pathogen in cells that identify their Fc area.
