School Closure
I certainly miss walking into classrooms filled with students arguing their points, creating art, watching a physics demonstration, learning a math concept, or playing a piece of music.
So give your children and your family some time to process this news. Take time this long weekend to feel the loss and adjust to the "new normal." Remember - the building is closed - but we are all still here. Teachers, counselors, administrators are available to students and families by email.
I am so proud of the Bellingham Community and so impressed by the perseverance, strength, and compassion displayed each and every day.
We are working to organized a process for students to come to school to gather their belongings. However, we will wait until after the number of cases of COVID-19 in the state declines before starting this process. We anticipate allowing seniors to collect belongings first and then allowing underclass students to get their things. However, we will always follow the local and state guidelines in the process.
Thank you for another successful week of Remote Learning and for all you are doing to support your students at home.
Remember there is no school tomorrow, Friday, April 24.
Stay Well.

Google Hangout Schedule
We also hope that this schedule will bring some consistency to the students' schedules and hope to provide some structure to our students' days.
The schedule provides flexibility for the educator and the students to find the best time to meet. The teachers will post the meeting time and link to the Hangout Session in their Google Classroom.
Recording a Classroom Google Hangout Session
Teachers would like to start recording these sessions and posting them on their Google Classroom Sites. This would allow students who are not able to attend the Google Hangout to access the lecture and Q&A from the session.
Thank You!

Notes from the Athletic Director's "home office" ...
Covid-19 is consuming our daily lives so let's set aside today and focus on tomorrow.
The Tri-Valley League Athletic Director's have turned our sights on the 2020-21 academic year and more than 650 games (Bellingham plays about 800) games have already been scheduled for next year already.
Now is not the time to sit back and play video games. Your job is to take the time to eat right, sleep right, work out, review materials provided by your coaches and anything else that makes you better… because that is exactly what our opponents will be doing.
Parents ... FamilyId is set up for all three seasons next year and Unipay is online. If you have a spring athlete you can apply your spring user fee to these future seasons. Go to FamilyId.com to register. PLEASE KEEP IN MIND THAT THERE IS A $50 DISCOUNT AVAILABLE FOR FALL SPORTS IF REGISTERED AND PAID BY JUNE 19.
