Informational Meeting - Bond Measure P
On January 21, 2020 from 5:30 PM – 6:30 PM at Westview High School Staff Lounge, parents are invited to attend an informational meeting on the Bond Measure P that will be on the March ballot. This Bond Measure will directly impact PUSD.

Attention OCIS-PE Students
Attendance and Performance Record for 2nd quarter (October 26, 2019-January 17, 2020) must be completed, signed by coach, and submitted to MVMS with student's Attendance and Performance Record by January 17th**. Attendance and Performance Record will be printed and available for students to pick up at the MVMS check-in/out table for students to grab at MVMS.
**Attendance and Performance Record (done quarterly): If this document is not received by due date, student will receive an "Incomplete" on their report card. After two weeks, this "Incomplete" will turn into an "F".
Yearbook Deadline Extended
We have extended the date to purchase your MVMS yearbook online to January 18th! You can also submit your $40 cash or check payment directly to the MVMS finance office. After we place our order with the publisher, we cannot guarantee there will be any extra books available in June. IF there are any extra books in June, they will be sold on a first come, first served basis for $50 cash only. ORDER NOW TO ENSURE YOUR STUDENT RECEIVES AN MVMS YEARBOOK.

Hear Ye! Hear Ye! Newspapers Needed
ASB is hosting a Leadership Development Day at the end of January and we are in need of newspapers for an activity. If you have newspapers at home and no longer need them, please consider bringing them to Mesa Verde. Please drop off newspapers to the Front Desk by January 21st.

Volunteers Needed: Step It Up Reward Day
The Step It Up Reward Day has been rescheduled for Wednesday, February 12th. The fundraiser itself raised funds for student life on campus for the students by the students to help improve and offset the cost of lunchtime activities, dances, and other enrichment activities for the students.
Parent volunteers will be helping supervise the multiple inflatable obstacle courses and other prize areas. There are several volunteer time slots available starting at 9:45 am. To VOLUNTEER, please click here.
Attention Students and Parents
For your safety, when walking to and from school please be sure to utilize the sidewalks and designated crosswalks. There have been reports of close calls in our parking lots.

Student Drop Off and Pickup
When dropping off your student in the morning, please proceed to the official student drop off and pick up area which is the last driveway along Entreken (our 6th grade lot). Considering all aspects of student safety, we ask that you always use this area for drop off and pickup. The driveway and parking lot next to the Administration Office will be closed to student drop offs.

This workshop offers strategies for 3 common challenges: Perfectionism, Self-Confidence, and Risk-Taking. Learn how to best encourage our children to achieve balance and yet continue to excel in their endeavors.
