Why is Going Green Important?
Going green is important because the earth can't sustain the way we live, it is over populated and the things that we use pollute the earth. The less we consume, the fewer resources are consumed to feed the demand. This means that what we dispose in the landfills will not be as packed because of us being mindful of the amount of resources we are using. It will help with the amount of energy that is being used and how it is conserved for generations to come.
Go Green At Home!
Make your Own Cleaning Supplies
Making your own cleaning supplies saves money, time, and it will be made out of natural products and not any toxic chemicals.

Go Green At School!
Recycle Paper
At school you are given many pieces of paper, even if you have went electronic you will still get some sort of paper for that class that will be needed. When you no longer need that paper then you could put it in the recycling bin instead of the regular trash.
Save Energy to Save Money
Unplug appliances when you are not using them or you could use a smart power strip that senses when the appliance is not being used and cuts off its energy.
Borrow Instead of Buying
Schools can buy one class set of books and each period will use them only in the class. Also the school can buy one set of books for a class and every class would have a different one so when the are done they could switch off.
