Weekly Updates from Mrs. K
May 27, 2022
From the Principal's Office
Like many of you I come from a family that has served, and continues to serve, this nation that we love. During the celebrations and fun this weekend, I am proud to reflect and honor my grandfathers, my uncles, and my brother in law. At the same time I want to recognize, as a matter of decorum, that they did not fall in battle and this day recognizes those who did. Those men and women represent every cross section of our nation, and came together for one purpose- to serve this nation. My hope for the future of the little Mallards in my care is that the divisiveness our country is experiencing will find a way to coalesce into a nation of people who are capable of valuing and respecting the diversity this nation was built upon. Be well this weekend, remember the fallen who have served our country, and let's work towards creating a better future for our children.
