Early Life

Edgar Allan Poe was born in Boston on January 19,1809. His mother died of tuberculosis. At age 3, he was an orphan, but he was soon adopted. Later in life he didn't succeed in school or in his job. He wrote many short stories but wasn't famous until after death on October 7,1849. There are still many speculations of how he died.

The Tale-Tale Heart

The tale tale heart is a story about two men and one of them has an abnormal creepy eye and it bothers the other man. The scared man decides to kill the creepy eye guy. When he kills him it haunts him and drives him literally insane. So read it or watch the adaption by Annette Jung.

Annabelle Lee is a story about a man who remembers his lost love Annabelle Lee. It was a little more than a crush it was love. Not even death was going to separate them. He still sees her everywhere, in his dreams. He still goes every night and lays at her tomb!

The Black Cat Summary

The Black Cat is a story about a man who loved animals and married a lady who loved animals. They got a whole house of animals and he started drinking and things took a turn for the worse. He started verbally and physically abusing his wife and pets.
