Lenape Tennis Team Wins League Championship

The district championship was held October 16th and 17th at West High School against Unami, Holicong, Tohickon, and Tamanend.

Lenape was the overall winner of the tournament. Jake R. won the singles championship. Tommy W. came in 3rd in the Singles tournament. Seth O. and Brendan M. took first in the doubles championship, beating teammates Danny W. and James K., who came in second place in the doubles competition.

Please review the expected TRAFFIC PATTERNS around Lenape by clicking here. We are having issues with some cars entering from State Street and pulling into the left lane rather than waiting in the line of cars in the right lane alongside the school. This is dangerous as buses use the left lane to exit Lenape after they have dropped students off at the bus platform. Please adhere to the expected traffic patterns to ensure everyone's safety.

Magazine Drive - Limo Lunch and Bounce Party

Students who qualified for incentives from the Magazine Drive will have a fun day on October 30. Students will take a limo to Dairy Queen for lunch and then in the afternoon, celebrate their hard work at an Inflatable Bounce Party in Lenape's gym. Please be on the lookout for permission forms to sign for eligible students.

Halloween Costume Contest

Halloween is October 31st. Student Council is sponsoring a contest for the best costumes. Prizes will be awarded. We ask that no masks or full face makeup be worn. Please remind your son/daughter that all costumes must adhere to the dress code.

Parent Conferences

Parent-Student-Teacher Conferences will be held on November 6th and 25th. At the middle school level conferences are not held for every student, but only when requested by a parent, teacher, or team. A letter describing the conferences (and how to request one) can be found here.

Lenape Student Ambassadors Recognition Program

Lenape Student Ambassadors have created a new program to recognize the efforts of members of our community. Nominees will be announced on Lenape Live TV and their names and accomplishments added to the Student Ambassador Tribe Pride Bulletin Board. Click here to nominate someone.

Open Mic Night

Lenape's Third Annual Open Mic Night was a great success. Many students took part in this event, which showcased their talent. We want to thank our music teachers (Mrs. Rogers, Mrs. Tosti, and Mrs. Talley) for planning and organizing this event as well as our many parents who volunteered. Money raised during this event will be used to support our music programs.

Hat and Glove Collection

The cold weather is coming and the Hat and Glove Drive has begun. Help support those in need by donating new hats and new or gently used gloves for children of all ages. The collection will take place all this week. Each homeroom has a plastic bag for collecting donated items. Your donations are greatly appreciated.

Thanksgiving Food Drive

Each year, Lenape holds a school-wide food drive to collect donations for families in our community. We have many families in need. We are collecting non-perishable food items and grocery gift cards that will be bundled into Thanksgiving baskets for families in our community. If you would like to contribute, please send your donation in to your child’s homeroom teacher between now and November 20th. The list of items needed can be found here. Thank you for all your help with this worthwhile cause.

Support Our Troops

On November 1, at 7:00 PM, CB West will host CB South in Football at War Memorial Field. That evening the CB West Stars and Stripes Club and the CB South Operation Eternal Gratitude Club will gather and collect supplies for 1st Lieutenant Thomas Dunn, Ghost Troop Executive Officer and his Troop of 137 Soldiers in Kandahar, Afghanistan.

The clubs at CBW and CBS will be shipping the items to Kandahar, Afghanistan and the goal is for the items to be received by Tom and his Company by Christmas. Although, military personnel cannot receive monetary gifts while serving our country, monetary donations will be accepted to cover the cost of shipping. Items not brought the night of the game, may be brought to Central Bucks High School West Reception or Central Bucks High School South Reception and they will be sent to Afghanistan.

Tom Dunn (CB South 2006) his two brothers Tim (CB West 2003) and Kevin Dunn (CB West 2004) are all graduates of the United States Military Academy at West Point. As the Executive Officer of his Company, Tom is responsible for the equipment, logistical sustainment, and well-being of 137 Soldiers in Kandahar, Afghanistan. He is 25 years old and he is relying on everything he learned, from his family, his faith, his teachers, his coaches, and his community leaders. They are in a faraway land and need our help. We, as a community, are committed to doing whatever we can for First Lt. Thomas Dunn and his Company.

Checks can be made payable to: CB West Student Activity Fund - Stars and Stripes or CB South Student Activity Fund Operation Eternal Gratitude. (Please indicate Tom Dunn in the memo portion of the check)

Thank you for all of your help and support.
