KIDS REACT TO ROTARY PHONES
Opening Activity
- What is your pet peeve?
- Think of a short story or example of why it bothers you
- Wait for further instructions...
Focus Lesson
Take about 5 to 10 minutes to write out a brief summary describing the unit you are going to work on today. Highlight those parts that you feel are fairly student-centered. Include those parts which you have (or plan to) successfully integrated technology. If you don't have much, that's OK and don't worry about too much detail... just put it down. If it is totally new and you haven't taught it yet just describe what it might be.
This is for your benefit. You will not turn it in to anyone although you may verbally share the ideas you put down.
** Everyone will work through the lesson they choose throughout the afternoon on a large sticky note.
*You will receive feedback
*You will make revisions
*You will leave with an AWESOME lesson!
