It’s time again for PTA Reflections…
Encourage your child to unleash their inner artist through the PTA’s Reflections Art Program! This year’s theme, “What is Your Story?” encourages students to think about who they are and what they want others to know about them.
Have your child get creative with an original work of art. Students may enter as many entries as they’d like, in one or more of the following categories:
· Dance Choreography
· Film Production
· Literature
· Music Composition
· Photography
· Visual Arts
Reflections deadline extended to Friday, November 11th.
All entries must be turned into the office with the required documents filled out completely and all rules followed correctly. Required documents are the checklist, student entry form, and consent form. Please follow ALL instructions on the checklist to make sure that the entry is acceptable or it will not be judged. No writing name on the front or glitter in visual arts. All artwork needs a title and artist statement. Most importantly, the theme must be reflected in the original work of art. Each category has specific rules that need to be followed like “presentation” or “format”. Read all rules carefully and follow specific directions before submitting artwork!
