Buy, Scan & Earn

We're accepting Box Tops For Education! This year the collection is digital. Please review the flyer above and link below for more information on how to buy, scan and earn for our school. Thank you for your support.

Curbside Meal Pickup

Children 18 years of age and younger are eligible for breakfast and lunch meals, at no charge, until the end of the current school year. 5 days of FREE food, for breakfast and lunch, can be picked up 'curbside' from the west side of our building! Members of our campus SLA Management team distribute meals to families every Thursday, between 6:30am and 7:30am and at 4pm until 5pm. During the month of April, meals will be distributed to families on April 1, 8, 15, 22 and 29. Simply let the SLA staff know how many children you are picking up meals for.

No School For Students

On Friday, April 2, there will be no school for students and our offices will be closed. Classes will resume for students on Monday, April 5, 2021, and our offices will be open. Telephone assistance will be provided from 7am until 4pm daily. In-person assistance must be scheduled by appointment only.

Assessment Information for Grades 3 - 8

Grade 3 - 8/MYP Y3 families should visit the link below to review the information posted on our website about Florida Standards Assessments (FSA), Statewide Science Assessments and End-of-Course Exams (EOC) for their child(ren). The information was previously shared during our Parent Night events in March, 2021.
Campus Statewide Assessments Schedule

Please click on the button provided to view the scheduled assessment dates and times for students in grades 3 - 8/MYP Y3. All information posted for these assessments are subject to change.

If your child is scheduled for make-up testing, you will be contacted to confirm the date of their make-up test, as assigned in the flyer below.

Campus Dismissal

Please make sure you have your child's dismissal placard placed on the PASSENGER SIDE dashboard of your vehicle. This will ensure efficiency during dismissal! If you do not have a placard, please email your child's homeroom teacher. A placard will be printed and sent home with your child(ren).

MYP Academic Camps

The online registration for student participation in Academic Camps for various subject areas closes at 11:59pm on Monday, April 5. Payment should be made at the time of registration. Academic Camp details of dates, times and links will be shared to those registered families by the camp facilitator.

Early Release

On Thursday, April 8, students will be 'early released' at 12pm. Any students picked after dismissal finishes at 12:30pm will be charged a $1 per minute fee for every minute the student is not picked up. Fees can be paid online using our website or by submitting a personal check or money-order. Student name, homeroom teacher and what you are paying for ie late fees should be included in the memo line.

Check Policy

Franklin Academy is a NO CASH school. Personal checks cannot be accepted after Friday, April 30, for payment of fees or other items. Money-orders are always acceptable. Online payments can also be made and a service fee will be applied. Make sure your child's full name, grade level, homeroom teacher and what you are paying for are included with your payment submission.

Virtual Campus Tours

Families that are interested in finding out more about Franklin Academy should reserve a spot for one of our Virtual Campus Tours that will be hosted virtually via Zoom.

Square 1 Art For Mother's Day!

Families can order their child's (already) uploaded artwork or add their new unique artwork at Square 1 Art Upload to order keepsakes in time for Mother's Day! For artwork that was already uploaded to Square 1 Art, please click on Square 1 Art 'Art Search'. Orders must be made online by Friday, April 16, to be received in time for Mothering Sunday in May.

Virtual Club Information

Our virtual clubs began on Monday, February, 22, and will continue throughout April, until they are scheduled to end on Friday, April 30, 2021. Any questions regarding your child's club should be sent via email to the student's club moderator.
