(New) Eastview Gives
Eastview’s Parents are Key (PAK) team is sponsoring a modified holiday giving drive this year. This year's giving drive will once again support Eastview's Random Acts of Kindness fund. EV counselors and administrators use these funds to support students and families in need.
We are seeking to provide gift cards to help families with groceries, weekend meals, personal care items, holiday gift giving, and more. The need is greater than ever with students at learning/eating at home full time, job instability, and the increased stress so many families are experiencing.
We are also seeking gift cards to use as we strive to maintain engagement in fun, spirited activities like our SPARK Spirit Awards (fun advisory activities) student contests and more. Please consider donating a gift card (or two)!
Cash or check donations are also appreciated, and will be used to support Random Acts of Kindness like paying for a student in need to purchase a yearbook, or offsetting costs for Behind the Wheel, prom, etc.
You can drop off donations at the West Entry Security Office between the hours of 8:30am - 3:30pm between now and December 22nd. Please mark envelopes with PAK DONATION when dropping items off. Donations can also be mailed to PAK/Eastview High School, 6200 140th Street West, Apple Valley, MN 55124.
THANK YOU for helping us continue our strong tradition of giving and sharing during this unique holiday season!

Student Attendance Reminder
Please remember to do your Attendance Check-In each school day (Monday - Friday) while learning virtually at home. Use the Campus App and click Today, then Attendance, and select “Yes, I’m here”. Students have until 11:00pm each day to complete this task and will be marked absent if they forget. Many students set an alarm on their iPad or phone to remind themselves.
Parents can review a student's attendance record in the Campus App and call to excuse any unknown absence. A Yellow Absence is unknown/unexcused. A Grey Absence is excused manually by reviewing their participation in Schoology because they did not check-in. The Attendance 24 Hour Voicemail is 651 683-6969 ext. 88677. Attendance Office questions call 952 431-8921 or 8922.

High School Distance Learning Meal Kit Pickup - Sign Up Today!
ALL secondary students are eligible for free seven-day meal kits to support their distance learning. To best meet the needs of our families, meal kits will be available for pick up near the middle or high schools’ entrance doors at these times:
· Monday 4:00pm- 5:30pm
· Tuesday 7:30am- 9:00am
· Wednesday 10:00am- 11:00am (Digital Academy Meals will continue)
· Thursday 7:30am- 9:00am
· Friday 7:30am- 9:00am
Look for the banner and sign for the distribution location. Families with children in multiple schools are encouraged to pick-up all seven-day meal kits at one school.
Initially, families will be asked to complete this Seven-Day Meal Kit Interest Survey. This will allow the Food and Nutrition Services department to prepare the number of meal kits needed. The survey only needs to be completed once.
The U.S. Dept. of Agriculture has authorized funding for schools to provide meals at no charge to children, 18 and younger, for the entire school year. All secondary families are encouraged to participate in this opportunity. Any child 18 and younger, or parent/guardian of a child is able pick up these seven-day meal kits. For contactless distribution, the seven-day meal kit boxes will be placed on a 6-foot table with a bag of milk on the side. Families will be able to take as many boxes as needed for their children. Food and Nutrition Staff will monitor and replenish the table as needed.
