Dear Parents,
English
We will also be working on pronouns this week as part of the sixth grade grammar standards.
I will be speaking at the Association for Middle Level Educators Conference in Columbus, Ohio this week, so I will be out of class Wednesday-Friday. Please contact me by email if you have any questions or concerns.
Social Studies
We finished our pop-up books on the 5 themes of geography. This week we will finish up our first unit on foundations of world geography. Reminder- students have homework assigned each Monday, and due on Thursday.

Students finished a poster identifying the levels in an Ecosystem.
This week we will look at the various relationships within Ecosystems. I will also be conferencing with each student this week to discuss their current grade in Science. Students are allowed to hand in any missing assignments anytime during the current marking period.
Homework:
No new homework assigned this week, but students should be working on missing assignments at home.
