Mrs. Bacon’s Third Grade students disguised an elf on the shelf. Destiny and Kurt disguised their elves as a Bobcat cheerleader and football player! What a perfect week to show off Bobcat Spirit!!!!! GO BOBCATS!!!!
Highland's 4-H club collected canned goods for the needy from all classes and presented them to Ryan Fuselier with the Eunice Rotary Club. Ms. Fontenot's class was the winning class of a pizza party because they collected the most cans.
KROTZ SPRINGS ELEMENTARY
7th and 8th grade KSE Beta members assisted in serving and performing for the patients of Quality Care Providers at their annual Christmas party.
5th and 6th grade KSE Beta members assisted in serving and performing for seniors in their community at the Krotz Springs Senior Christmas Luncheon.

NORTHWEST HIGH SCHOOL
“Meet Proxy! NHS Robotics has completed the building of their first competition robot. NHS Robotics Team “Circuit Breakers” will compete on January 12, 2019, at Lee High School against various Robotics teams from across the state!”
OPELOUSAS JR. HIGH SCHOOL
Opelousas Jr. High School was awarded the Safe Miles for Education Walmart Transportation Grant.

Palmetto Elementary hosted a Santa workshop for all community students. Elves and students alike had a great time!

Ms. Donatto, the 5th grade ELA teacher at Sunset Middle School, held a drawing to reward her students with Wal Mart gift cards for achieving growth and or mastery level on Interim I testing. The winners were Sicilly A. and Damean F.

"DONUTS WITH DADS " was held on Friday, November 30, 2018, at Lawtell Head Start Center by the
St. Landry Parish Lawtell Head Start Parent Committee and Center Support Staff with the help of School board member, Anthony Standberry, in efforts to promote family engagement and social-emotional development, which is one of the pillars of the Head Start Program. The St. Landry Parish Early Childhood Education staff and Child & Family Services at Lawtell Head Start will exemplify family partnerships and opportunities for child development planned activities. Thanks to the Lawtell Parent Committee: JoHellen Duckless, Parent President; Rebecca O'Riley; Kim Woodley; and all who helped make our 1st "Donuts With Dad" possible.
