Tiger Nation Newsletter
Weekly Report for September 30, 2022
Tiger Nation:
We have completed the first quarter of the school year. Progress report grades will be posted this afternoon. Please take some time to discuss your child’s current grades and progress as well as establish some goals for the final quarter of the first semester.
GHS will be on Fall Break from October 3rd - 14th. Students and staff will return to campus for the start of the second quarter on Monday, October 17th.
Fall Break is a great opportunity for students to expand and improve their literacy skills by taking time to relax and find something cool to read. Independent reading has been shown to improve comprehension as well as increase vocabulary.
Congratulations to GHS Senior Tyler Judd. He was recently named as a National Merit Semifinalist! The National Merit Scholarship Program is a prestigious academic competition for recognition and scholarships that began in 1955.
As always, thank you for your ongoing support of Gilbert High School!
