Be on the Honors Snapchat!
Are you a social media guru? Or have you ever wanted to try being a vlogger for a day? This is your chance to share your Temple experience and be featured on the Temple Honors Snapchat!
What it is: Temple Honors has a Snapchat account (@templehonors) that functions as a recruiting tool for prospective high school students and a way for current Honors students to connect
How it works: Every day a different Honors student “takes over” the Snapchat account and showcases their Temple experience in a "Day in the Life" style of content.
How you can participate: Follow us @templehonors to see some examples of how it works! Send an email to lisa.platz@temple.edu with your grade, major, and what day you’d be interested in taking. Anyone can participate!
Professional Development & Volunteer Opportunities
Let's Get Ready
The program runs Mondays and Wednesdays from 5:30-8:30 pm on Temple's campus. Let's Get Ready is looking for volunteers to teach either math on Mondays, or reading and writing on Wednesdays. This is a great way for honors students to give back to the community and get experience teaching and managing a small group. Traditionally, LGR has had a great turn out from honors students in the past and most volunteers enjoy it so much that they return for at least two semesters! Click here to apply!
If you have any questions, email temple@letsgetready.org.
Video Internship!
If you're interested, please contact Patrick Wells (patrick.wells@sap.com).

Honorables of Color Welcome Gathering
Honors Lounge
The Honorables of Color is a discussion group for students of color in the Temple University Honors Program. HOC gatherings offer minority Honors students an opportunity to share their experiences, discuss social issues, network across academic majors, and connect with campus faculty and staff of color in order to build a sense of community at Temple. American Indian, Asian, Black or African American, Latino, Pacific Islander, and multiracial students are encouraged to attend, although everyone is welcome.
