Back-to-School Packets
Back-to-School Packets will be available for pick-up starting July 30th.
Packets will be available for pick-up in the front office during the following times:
- Monday - Thursday: 9:00 - 12:00 and 1:00 - 3:00
- Wednesday, July 31st: 5:00 - 7:00 pm
- Wednesday, August 7th: 5:30 - 7:30 pm (Meet-the-Teacher Night)
6th & 7th grade families: Pick up packets in the front office of the junior high.
8th grade families: Pick up packets in the front office of the junior high. If you are picking up your packet at Meet-the-Teacher Night, pick up your packet in the front of C Building at the high school.
**A reminder from our nurse**
If your child is going into 6th grade and is 11 years old, they will need to receive their 11 yr old immunizations. These shots are Tdap and Meningococcal. They will NOT be permitted in to 6th grade without these shots per A.R.S. 15-871 and 15-874, "No child will be admitted without updated immunization records." We must have updated shot records on file for scholars to be able to start school on Monday, August 12, 2019.
Please make sure to bring updated shot records as needed when coming to collect your scholar's back-to-school packet.
New schedules will NOT be released to any family with outstanding fees or shot records that have not been updated.
Meet-the-Teacher Night
Families may tour classrooms from 5:30 - 7:30. 6th & 7th grade families will be on the Junior High campus. 8th grade families, please join us in C building on the high school campus to see our new location!
Please bring your scholar's school supplies and distribute them as specified on your child's specific grade level supply list.
New Scholar Orientation
6th & 7th grade families: Drop your scholar off in the back of the junior high campus and have your scholar join us in the gym for our kick-off!
8th grade families: Drop your scholars off in front of the gates closes to C building on the high school campus. Scholars will meet in room 104 in C building.
All 6 - 8th grade scholars will be picked up in the back of the junior high campus at 11:00. We hope to see your scholar there!

Parent Volunteer Opportunities

Transportation
If you are interested in having your child ride the bus to school or in having them utilize the shuttle to go from the elementary campuses to our Junior High campus, please CLICK HERE to take our transportation survey. The survey is used to determine the amount of scholars, routes necessary to accommodate geographic locations, and BUS SERVICE and BUS SHUTTLE designations.
THIS IS ONLY A SURVEY which is mandatory if your want your scholars to ride the bus.
If you are interested in utilizing transportation, you will still need to register in early July. You will receive an email when registration becomes available.
Lunches
Scholars may still bring a packed lunch. We will be sending out a Google Form at the end of each month with the options available for the upcoming month. If your scholar would like to purchase the lunch options, you will indicate that on the form so we can ensure we have enough of each item for all scholars purchasing lunch.
Please stay on the lookout for the first Google Form coming out via email at the end of July!
Fall Sports Information
Fall Sports include:
- Co-ed Tackle Football
- Co-ed Cross Country
- Girls' Volleyball
- Co-ed Golf
All scholars are required to have a physical uploaded online prior to tryouts. Physical and all other paperwork must be uploaded online prior to August 16th. Tryouts will take place the week of August 19 - 22 beginning after school at 4:00. Please see the the attached letter for more details. For questions regarding sports, please email Mrs. McNelley at cmcnelley@topamail.com.
Uniforms
For PE uniforms, spirit gear, sweatshirts, and other Odyssey gear, please visit our Spirit Store on the high school campus. Please see their summer hours below.
