· Responsible for creating and collecting assessments

· Oversees COPPA compliance

· Provides professional development opportunities in technology integration

· Provides assistive technology education in the classrooms

· Supports administrators and staff with educational technologies

· Develops and implements the computer education program of the district

· Compiles and publishes data for use by schools, district, web applications and state reports

· Develops standards for acquisition, maintenance and training for educational technologies

· Chairs and works closely with the members of the district technology committee

· Serves as a clearinghouse of information on trends, research, applications, and effective practices related to technology

· Acts as the district's Universal Service Fund (E-Rate) administrator and files the required applications on behalf of the school system

· Manages all technology divisions to serve faculty, staff, and students
