Ohlone Family Connection
April 23, 2021
Ohlone Staff Thanks You!
Oh, you spoil us! Thank you for the delicious burritos from Sancho's Taqueria. All of the flowers, chocolate, cupcakes, coffees, pictures, cards, kudoboards, and air hugs truly uplifted our spirits. The bucket-filling was endless and heartwarming. Your kindness is much appreciated. We are grateful to have incredibly supportive Ohlone families. Thank you!
There are a few things that are cropping up each week, so you may see the OFC a bit more frequently in this last stretch of the school year. I want to keep you in the know!
Earth Week was inspiring and students engaged in impactful activities and discussions. Please see the great work of our Green Team below.
I spent some time with Room 1 and Marieluise on the farm today. Sheep to sweater! The kids were able to feel, wash, brush, spin and weave. Fascinating!
I also want to thank our PTA for working so hard to keep our traditions alive. Spring Fling is just around the corner. Don't forget to have your child submit their video. They are due today :).
I hope this weekend brings you connection and happiness. I am looking forward to pool time and a picnic with both of my boys and husband. Oh, wait. Is it supposed to rain? Plan B: Finishing Crash Landing on You on Netflix. Can't wait!
I am looking forward to welcoming our last formerly hybrid classes back full-time next week. It is buzzing at Ohlone, both in-person and online! Have a beautiful weekend!

Please fill out one for each student in your household, including your rising 5th graders. These are challenging times, and we understand that plans are not set, or might change. Please fill out the survey anyway, there is an option to choose for everyone.
If you are unsure if you have already completed this form, please do so again. It’s easy to remove duplicates. We need to hear from everyone. Thanks!
