Learning About Space
Upcoming Events
This week we will be learning about outer space. We will be doing some activities to help the child understand the order of the planets, and the orbit of the planets. These activities will incorporate math skills, science, and some history. There are some activities you can do at home with your child listed below.
- Making a rocket ship
- Make planets then put them in order
- Learning about the orbit of the planets
FIELD TRIP:
Science museum in Hartford
We leave at 9:30 and arrive back at school at 1:30.
Please pack a lunch, we'll be eating at the museum
Field trip cost; $10.00

Materials Needed:
- Tissue Boxes
- Empty 2 liter soda bottles
- Colored cotton balls (preferably red or orange, any sizes)
AT HOME ACTIVITIES:
