Sukkot (aka the Feast of Tabernacles) commemorates the forty-year period in which the Hebrews traveled the desert to get to the land of Israel. It is also known as the Biblical Thanksgiving Feast (on which the Pilgrims based their holiday).
Sushi in the Sukkah Shabbat Dinner: Friday, October 2nd at 7:00pm, meet in sukkah behind GAC, weather permitting (otherwise GAC 151). Alternate food will be provided for you non-sushi lovers.
This event is FREE for Nazareth students, faculty and staff.
