In the Classroom!
May begins our shapes week, Muffin Mornings and spring themed weeks.
Muffins Morning! It's not only for the am. It's a special time to sit down and share a muffin with mommy or whoever would like to come. This can be at drop off, in the middle of the day, or at pick up. Stop in, eat, and unwrap your gifts.
- Please bring in sunscreen to reapply throughout the day, please bring your child already wearing it that way we have more time for outside adventures
- What is Family Fun Day? Kiddos can bring swim suit to play in the water park. Lots of yummy food too!!! Everyone comes with a pitch in item (look for sign up sheet soon) to hang out, eat, and watch the kiddos graduation ceremony. It's a super great time (Just my opinion)
Our class is growing day by day, we have added new students and due to the increase we have split the class into small groups (Spots and Stripes).
Our science experiments this month will include eggs and changes that occur in different liquids, different types of soap bars and their reaction in water, DIY galaxy jar and DIY cake flour.
Our math activities this month include counting items for the galaxy jar using pinchers and fine-motor skills, coin wrappers and coin sorting, shape and letter outlining/tracing and indoor/outdoor hopscotch.
· Remind Me App: It's a free app that we're using to for simple reminders like show and share, friend of the week, physical due dates, etc. Our class code is 26kh9g
APRIL SHOWERS BRING.....MAY MUD!!!
Operation Tot Spot Gives Back!!
Scholastic
Following a snow-filled winter, a young boy and his dog decide that they've had enough of all that brown and resolve to plant a garden. They dig, they plant, they play, they wait . . . and wait . . . until at last, the brown becomes a more hopeful shade of brown, a sign that spring may finally be on its way.

The Book Nook
How the crayons saved the Rainbow
Determined to save the rainbows and fix the Sun and Clouds’ friendship, the crayons draw rainbows all over town. Their attempts go unnoticed. Soon they realize that they’re going to have to do something big to get the attention of the former friends. So, the crayons create the biggest rainbow they can and hope it’s enough to bring color back to the world.
