Your Sender Domain
Where is your newsletter sent from?
When you send out newsletters through Smore, we generate a new email address. The first part of the email address is based on the account's screen name. The second part of the email, the domain, is attached to our email domain (users.smore.com). The reasons why we do this include:
1. Allowing us to smooth out the delivery process and make sure your newsletters are being sent and delivered as quickly as possible.
2. Having newsletters sent out through our domain allows us to investigate and repair any deliverability issues. You can learn more about deliverability by clicking here.
FAQ'S
1. What if I want to send out my newsletter using my personal email address?
You can write up an email from your inbox and then copy and paste the newsletter share link into the body of the email. However, please note we cannot see if newsletters are successfully delivered to recipients if they are being sent from your personal inbox.
2. When emailing a newsletter through Smore, are my recipients able to see the other recipients who received my newsletter?
No. If you are sending your newsletter through Smore, the recipient will see their own email address and will not be able to view the email addresses of the other recipients who received your newsletter.
